This blog is to show my training for the Land's End to John O'Groat's cycle ride to raise money for Batten's Disease research.

Please see www.justgiving.com/supportharrymillsop to donate to this worthwhile cause and why I'm doing this ride.

hurray!! comfortably exceeded Aprils target miles of 600 miles - did 721 miles. The 2 rides at the weekend were comfortable but both were hard work

Sat ride was only 45 miles, but there was a good chunk of it that was directly into a 20 mile an hour head wind which made it hard work.

Monday was slightly different. There was a good chunk of the ride had a very good tail wind which menat I was flying - average speed over 53 miles was 17.6mph. I think I'll have to slow down when cycling 100 miles per day for day days.....

oh well...only 2½ weeks left before we set off, and only 1½ training left - but still want to gt at least another 200 miles under my legs before I go...
